Buck downed by Savage 99

Here's another closeup of the 8 pointer and the 1941 Savage! .300 caliber. Notice the damage right main beam where he must have hurt it when it was growing!!

Nice buck and a sweet gun! Congrats! I have a 760 Remington made in 1952 in 300 Savage I cary fairly often. Darn near perfect deer round.
