hey guys havent posted in a while been hunting ALOT im looking to upgrade my rifle and am not sure what calibber but i realy like the 7mm_08 and the 308 what would yous guys pick? thanks in advance

The two calibers are very comparable. The 7mm might deliver a little better performance on game, but with any kind of decent shot it wouldn't be noticable. Ammunition for .308 will be more widely avaialble, and probably cheaper.

I would go with the .308. There are simply a lot more options as far as ammunition to choose from.

By far love the 7mm-08! I have a Remington Mountain Rifle in 7mm-08 and it is my favorite caliber by far!! Its a killer!

I'd say .308 simply for the ammo options. There is also just something that draws me to .30 bullets. I have experience with .308's myself and I liked them, not as much as the '06 though!! I haven't tried a 7mm/08 but I have heard nothing but good things about them.
