On Saturday December 1, 2007, I had the privilege to be the adult with my friends daughter on this late morning hunt. Her dad, brother and uncle were driving the area we were hunting. She heard a noise behind us and said that there were 2 deer. I told her to check and then take her shot. Well she did one shot through the neck of an ELEVEN point buck. What a trophy for a first time huntress. We knew she could shoot picking off water bottles at 50 yards with her 20 gauge but to shoot a deer at 70 yards was awesome.
