Not to good.... Since I dont have any luck shooting a Buck, With horns I had to settle for a Bald Buck!... Pretty dull story but will share any way...

Sat in the tree stand all day in the rain (Luckily I has a roof on my stand) with very little shooting going on.. Didnt see anything until the owner of the ground put a drive together... Two deer were jumped and ran my way.. The second deer stopped and turned around to see what jumped them and when it did I just pulled and shot when I seen it in the scope...

I wasn't sure if I hit it or not because I didnt even have the cross hairs located right.. (I know give me the third degree about that, I know better) I seen it buckle like I did hit it but wasn't sure.. I waited a little and went down out of the tree stand to find blood.. What did I see? Nothing... Looked around a little farther from when I shot at it and didnt see any blood... Went back to where it was and seen hair laying there so I knew I hit it... One of the guys that were in the drive met up with me and we searched together... Finally found it laying about 60 yards from where I shot it and I noticed that it was a button buck, [:@]

the funny part about it was about a min after I shot someone to the right of me shot also... After I found the button buck and was dragging it out the logging road, There was one of the standers that had shot the other deer that was with mine.. Then I found out that his was a button buck as well! Two buttons running together... They were pretty small buttons and couldnt even see them until we shot them...

i got drenched all day monday..i was instand from 5:30 am till dark and all i saw were 3 does in the morning and a small spike later in the afternon...there were hadly any guys hunting and the deer were just not moving...on tuesday i was on my way to my hunting spot and just as i had pulled off the road and parked my truck a BEAUTIFUL 10 point came running down the hillside to my left, paused in the road for a moment..and took off straight down into the creek bottom where i was going to be hunting.....i i got all excited and ended up circiling around my spot and coming in fom the back hoping to cach him off guard but i never saw him again....i saw the same 4 does in the afternoon and that was all i saw so far...hoping this saturday will have a much better turnout....this was a bad opeining day....hardly any shots..i counted mybe 10 all day when i usually hear damn near close to 100 maybe more, and they were all distant....
