Default a good day in the woods!




I've nevergot a buck mounted, but i'm thinking about it for this guy. i figured$250 isreasonable for a shoulder mount, i was expecting atleast $400 range.

Man if that is your first mount consideration and you can get it done for less than $450, go for it! Nice buck. Where's the smile though? I'd have a grin from ear to ear.

$250 for a shoulder mount? My buddy shot his first buck this year(very big 8point) and it is costing him $750 and he has to wait a year,mind you he is getting it mounted by one of the best taxidermists in the world,and he lives 15 minutes away.I was in his shop and he is working on a full size Polar bear man what a sight.

hey dude i thinki saw you driving down the road seriously. (i am probably wrong but i saw a buck exactly like that caped in the back of a truck. do you live in va? i just have to ask cause the buck i saw looked exactly like that.

my 12 y.o. cousin was nagging the hell out of me and wouldn't hurry up with the picture, thats why i'm short of a smile! other than that i was stoked!

he came out of the woods about 250-300 yards accross the field from me headed in the wrong direction, grunted at him once and he turned on a dime coming straight at me. slug dropped him in his tracks about 30 yards out. i got another smaller 8 three days into the season, and i have one more tag left. i'm planning on doing a european mount for the smaller buck. here is a picture of him
