Nice buck and that is a great price for the mount (assuming, of course, the quality is good as well). Not to pick, but your heading "a good day in the woods", how often do you have a bad day in the woods? :D

most of the time i won't see a buck like this, not to mention drop one! it's always a good day in the woods, i guess i should have said "a great day in the woods"

ORIGINAL: lucky_shot I've nevergot a buck mounted, but i'm thinking about it for this guy. i figured$250 isreasonable for a shoulder mount, i was expecting atleast $400 range. I'd ask how your taxidermist preparing the hide. I like to have mine tanned, rather than the stuff some guys rub on the hide to preserve it. Tanning costs a bit more, but, the mount doesn't start losing hair after a couple years... |
