Default Okie bucks

Well my buddy called me up and said he got his buck back from the taxidermist. He has had a pretty good run. The one on the right is kind of special because I had scouted and had him patterned pretty good just waiting for bow opener. I got him started bow hunting and were pretty much on the same page with intensity for the sport. Well he found out he got a short notice deployment and was going to miss pretty much all of bow season. He had a week then he was gone to suck sand. I told him to sit in my stand, not a hard decision for me. He smoked him.

I had a change of station to Ohio and next bow season same spot he smoked the one on the left. I created a monster.

Great looking deer. Either one would be a great year maker. So far, I am no where close. Where in Oklahoma did they come from?

Their from SW Oklahoma. The high fence thing is funny. More like I stopped and asked the farmer while he was watering his cattle if I could hunt and he said yes. In return I ran people off and fixed some fence.
