RE: Baiting for deer

Dont put out to much at one time. A corn feeder works great. When they hear it go off they go to it thinking if they dont another deer might eat all the corn before they get there. If you use one set if off plenty before dark so they have to get there early to get corn. You Snouse you Lose!!!!!!!!!!!

RE: Baiting for deer

I would suggest trying to set up somewhere on a trail leading to your bait site, also like the others have mentioned 50lbs of apples is a lot to put out at once.I use homemade corn feeders and put in about 2 5gal buckets aweek.that are gravity feeders so the deer come whenever they want.Mostly does but where you have does you'll eventually have a buck or two running them.
