Default Spiker down!(pics)

Well got out today for some whiteys. Was walkin along with my buddy and we were only 200yds from the truck and i look at this tree and i seen the white flag. immediately i swing the scope over and check it out, still low light in the morning but it was legal to shoot, i checked it out and i seen that it was a doe, no antlers, so i have a doe tag to fill, so BOOM. She drops, gets up and slowly runs into the bush. I know she is hit good. So i give her a half hour go walkin up there, see lots of blood follow it and there she........HE was! CRAP its a spiker, so i look at the one side and there is no doubt its less then four inches(less then 4 inches and it classified as a doe) but i grab its head and check the other one out, CRAP it is definitely over 4 inches. So i had to use my general tag on it(buck or doe). But oh well still meat in the freezer.

The product of two days of hunting

Nice pictures great looking county. But Dude don't have that gun pointing at yourself or anyone. Yes I know it was probaly unloaded but unloaded guns have killed many people.

Please, never point a gun at yourself or anyone else - the first rule of safety in muzzle control.

Nice spike

Wow...that's a lot of deer hanging...how many do you normally take a year? You must have a big freezer.

Well there are 5 us of that hunt together and we all split the meat but on average we will kill about 20 deer, 2 elk, 2 moose a year, thats average, changes year to year though.

Yah i noticed where the gun was after i took the pic, i was just rushing to get into the pic cause it was on a timer. Stupid mistake.
