I need a bit of help on what I should do. The outlined in yellow is a winter wheat field I have seen a few deer out there. The area outlined in orange is in CRP. We cant mow it so it has tall grasses and weeds. I have jumped a few deer from this area. The red "X"s are where have stands. The blue line is a river. I have thought of setting up along the river some where but not sure. If I did have know idea where, and how get there with out scaring the deer. You guys have any ideas for me?

i would set up where i can get a good view of the bottom right corner of the yellow lined field.
if using a rifle.. set up at the upper right hand corner of the yellow lined field.
i dont know what your distances are, but if its about 120 yards from the top right corner, down to the bottom right corner..
that would be perfect.
then put your feeder or spread your corn all along that bottom yellow line.
what is the orange area? What is CRP?

maybe you can't bait in indiana. the river looks like one long funnel, mybe try to find a spot were you can hunt the strip of woods along the river, and still see into the field. i would stay way back and watch the field for a couple of nights and morningswith binoculars, see where they are coming and going, and then set up to ambush
