In two weeks the muzzleloader season opens and i cant wait to get into them woods. How bout everyone else.

Our shot gun season opens in 2weeks but I will be slinging the muzzy for that.Our muzzleloader season starts dec3.

I will be using my savage ML for firearms in MN starting 11/3 and then of course for ML season starting 11/24.

I guess I'm spoiled down here in GA... Our ML season has done gone bye-bye... rifle started last weekend. That doesn't mean we can't hunt with smokepoles any longer though. I typically hunt the entire season with mine (or, if I feel sporty, I'll break out the Xbow). Our season is much longer than in the north because it takes three of our small deer to equal one of the northern ones.

Ours started last saturday, and I took my first deer of the season, a nice sized doe. Also my first with a muzzleloader. A friend of mine has no place to muzzle load hunt, so he loaned me his. It's been years since I fired one, so both the doe and I were surprised when it went off!

our muzzle loader is over with aswell. i shot a 6 point this year with my smoke pole.
