Regular Ranch Fence.. DOES NOT KEEP DEER IN.. by any means.
4 or 5 strands of barbed wire only serves as a purpose to keep Cattlein and provide a property boundry line.
Deer Hop, or go under these fences with no problems at all.
actually.. even full grown cattle have NO PROBLEM jumping over a regular Barbed wire fence.
i see it alot. they just normally Dont, because they have no reason to and there not Afraid of Humans.
But i have watches Large Cows just Hop right over barbed wire fences.
as a matter of fact, im having that problem with the neighbors cattle every day this week since i put up my deer feeder.
they hop over, to get to the corn. and Knock my feeder over.
one will spend several hours looking for a broken fence, when cows are out.
when many times.. its not broken anywhere

ill be going down the 2nd weekend of November.
but ill have to kill a Cull buck 1st.. (less than 8 points at 4yrs+) .. (Spikes, 6" of longer) .. (or any buck with Obviously Deformed antlers)
sometimes these less than 8 point bucks, can have very Big Racks !!
but after i kill a cull, i can then hunt a trophy.
trophy is Buck of 12 point Miniumum... (which is why you see the MONSTER 10 Point bucks in pictures, still alive)
Later in December, 8 point bucks are allowed... if a qualifying Cull buck has been killed 1st.
the reason the 8 points are no allowed the 1st half of the season, is because EVERYONE who hunts there... could kill a BIG 8 in the first 2 weekends.
on any given weekend... there will be Several 8 point Bucks within range.. scoring 130+
