Does look like a goat....some exotic cross breed, or something. Weird.

I agree, that guy doesn't look too happy, either.

It is an ultra-rare melanistic whitetail button buck.

My understanding is whitetails can't cross-breed with Sika or Fallow deer. (Muleys yes, others no)

That is a dead deer. I've seen them before. Usually identified by the fact that they are "allowing: a human to touch them.

JoeyG is right ... that is a melanistic deer , they are even more rare than a albino deer.
It was said it had to do with the pegment of there skin that produce's a darker color of hair.

The deer also has an overbite. Probably a birth defect of some kind. I raise sheep and once in a while one will be born black with an overbite like that but they have always been dead.

funny - reminds me of when a girl (from india) at work saw a picture of me w/ a buck. she said "how'd you get it to sit still for the picture?". she was dead serious.
