Hahaha, you though albinos and pie balds were rare! Have you ever seen anything like this?! This resembles bear colorings a bit, don't ya think so?

That is a very rare trophy indeed, not to mention a dandy buck as well. That was a good article. I had the pleasure of guiding the writer, Tom Fegley at our outfitting business last fall for a fall turkey hunt. He is a great guy as well as talented.

OMG!! I was going to post something about has anyone seen a black deer before prior to reading this topic. There is a button buck that has been on my acreage since he was a fawn......other deer do not seem to care for him much, and although one of this years early fawns.....he is almost black!!! His pelt is as dark as the pic. I have seen in my 46 years(for odd deer)....several piebalds, one true albino, and then this little guy that is unreal it seems he is so dark.......... I hope that he makes it to harvest time in several years!! No doubt that his daddy was one of the great seed bucks in this area. BTW, Awesome buck, and pic!

That's an awesome buck alone, but to add that color, what a trophy.

That is neat, I have seen real dark bucks before but they all had the normal white markings. To see a all dark deer is very rare, I have not even heard of that before. Nice trophy!!!!!
