FINALLY!
Hey folks,
It has been awhile since i visited. Between hunting hard and a down computer, I have been away. Anyway, since I have a good excuse to visit, thought I would tell you about my buck (first this year, second ever).
Keep this in mind, I hunt Florida so keep your expectations low. My buck was an 8 point with 4 inch bases, 16 inch main beam and a 12 inside spread. It has been a long and difficult season, but I finally got him, just when i was about to give up. He weighed 135 lbs, which surprisingly is the heaviest on our lease this year (of 7 bucks).

Congrats on a nice Florida buck tealboy!
Mauser not all southern deer are small, I can not comment on NC, but in Va. depending on where you hunt the average buck can dress between 120-140 pounds, I killed one in 74 that dressed at 175 and my cousin killed one the next year that dressed at 210. The 210 pounder dressed was one of the biggest bodied deer I have heard of in Va., but I am sure there are ones somewhat bigger. Our mountain deer are small though.
