I've always heard the best times are right before sunrise, and right after sunset. I hunt where deer aren't as abundant as the Eastern states, and I seem tocome across most ofthem between 7 - 10am, and4- 7pm, so I voted in between hours. Really, i've seen them all hours of the day.

Although I love early mornings in the woods, I've seen more deer towards evening. The exception is during the rut. Middays can be very hot actionwise.
