What is the best deer mineral or atractant that you have used?

Actually, the very best attractant I've found, other than a hot doe smell, is either the smell of ripe persimmons or acorns. It's most effective post rut since they're looking for food to restore their lost reserves before winter.

I jump on the back of a hot doe and shoot the buck when it raises up to mount! LOL

I do something similar with sorghum molasses on a scent pad, but I hang it high so the scent can catch more wind and it's out of the deer's reach. I'll have to try that honey trick, I mostly target does.
