Can you set up between the two? Deer will loiter longer at a food source than they will at a waterhole, but they have to drink sometime. While eating they tend to be on high alert, same with drinking, but while headed between the two they aren't as alert. You'll also have a greater choice of places to set up, particularly for a tree stand. Bucks also tend to loiter away from a feeding area until close to sunset/sunrise, why not be right over their heads when they do?
