First day of the season
The first day of the season in Arkansas is Oct. 1st now, My question is what is going on this time with the deer? I mean is this the starting of the rut? what should I use the first day?

You find a few rubs here an there, nothing serious. You should most likely look for some redoaks dropping acrons. Look for a lot of tracks in the area of oaks trees. If you have the time look for deer coming intofields regularly. The prerut want start till around 2nd or 3rdweek of Oct.
