Who would you rather be alone in the woods with?
 

This whole Man vs Wild post has generated some good conversations. Let's take a poll and see who you would rather have with you in the middle of the woods with no civilization for hundreds of miles away.

I would "rather" be alone in the woods with someone like Jessica Simpson or some other hottie ;), but with that said and out of the 3 choices, would have to be Les.

My vote's for Bear. He knows all of the same stuff that Les knows, but seems far more interesting IMHO. Either way, I'd feel pretty good with either of those guys there to save me. I wouldn't last 20 minutes with Tred. It'd be me or him...

Well Red Lion, I would totally agree with you on that one; however, I tried to keep this to hunting related. Great suggestion though!

I would pick Bear, because he seems much more upbeat and positive. Most people who are lost die of pity and give up. Both Bear and Les know their stuff and I would like my odds of being lost with either one of those guys.

I think I would rather die alone. I really don't know any of them though. The only one I really know of is Tred. He probably isn't that bad of guy when you get to know him.

If I was alone in the woods .. hmmm , if I was alone then I would be by myself but on the other hand it would be me , myself and I so ... I wouldn't really be alone. ;)

Definitely Les, Bear would try and talk you into jumping into rivers without seeing how deep they are first, or tell you to try and climb down a waterfall. In other words, Bear would get you killed.

I initially agreed with you, but I could imagine how a non-hunter might make some mistakes in the woods and accidentally step into your line of fire as you were releasing. Then you could go hom, sober up, and call the cops the next day which would all lead to you becoming an alcoholic and a US Senator!
