I have one just like it and its okay but I like the back pad to come in just behind the pistol grip myself .That way I can bring the butt of the gun further back off the bench . I use my Hoppe rest with sand bags more on a table I designed for it .I can make adjustments a lot easier on the two piece rest . Thats just my opinion though and I'm sure others will disagree .

I have one of similar design, although I don't remember it being nearly so expensive. The only problem I have had with it is that it is somewhat unstable due to the rear only having one "foot"

I have the same gun rest and its sucks. Go buy the 15 dollar one at walmart and it will do 5 times better then this one. I sold it at a garage sale to get rid of the junk.

well what were the problems you were having?

Did you shoot better groups with a bull bag or just like it more?

Wide Eyes, I have the bull bag too and really like it. I've never used the one you're asking about so I'm no help there.

I have tried these type of rests and prefer the standard type rest and sandbag for the front and a sandbag for the rear of the stock.I just didn't find these rests comfortable to use or really solid.
