Funny story about the can. A buddy of mine was watching a nice buck and it was not coming close enough to shoot, so Eric tried to move and get around a ridge and get closer. He knew he was too far away for the deer to hear him so he was moving pretty fast. The movement of him going down the hillside made his can make little bleet sounds. When he got to the other side the deer was running at him. He stopped and the deer stopped. He then took the can out and tried to make the little bleet sound again and the deer got into range. He uses his can with great success. I have had zero success.
