Hi I'm new to this forum too and new to hunting. My cousins have asked me to start hunting with them and I will be soon taking the New York State sportsman course, it's 10 hours long and once I do that I'll then see about taking the exam to getting my hunting license.

Yes we do have some great bucks up here. This morning as I went for my morning walk I saw a buck grazing in my friend's families field. I stopped and the buck just stared at me. He then returned to the grazing but would stop when I moved.

It's spred up over a few days, but it dosent count the hunting lisense class and the not required advanced coures but im not shure how longthat is but i will.
