OK ....IM GENERALLY WAY TO HUMBLE TO ASK THIS QUESTION BUTDUE TO POPULAR DEMAND I AM POSTING THIS POLL ON WEATHER OR NOT I, AKA DOCTOR DEATH SHOULD HOST IS OWN TV SHOW .... NOW ITS WIDLY KNOWN THAT I HAVE HAD SOME SUCCESS DEER HUNTING .... YES I HAVE TAKEN A MONSTER BUCK ...YES I DID TAKE 13 IN 2005 INCLUDING A VERY NICE 10pt BUCKAND POSTED ALL OF THEM ON HERE TO SHARE WITH MY FANS ...YES I AM THE CURRENT CO-HOLDER (ALONG WITH MY SON)OF THE WORLDS RECORD BIG HEAD CARP 86lbs KILLED IN 2005 BOWFISHING ....I COULD GO ON AND ON BUT HEY ..IM NOT THE KIND OF GUY TO BLOW HIS OWN HORN ...SOME OF MY FANS AND FRIENDS ON THE FORUM SUGGESTED THAT I MIGHT HAVE MY ON SHOW ...CALLED "DRILLIN THEM WITH DOCTOR DEATH" .....SO I WILL LEAVE IT TO YOU GUYS ..SHOULD THE GOOD DOCTOR HOST HIS OWN TVSHOW ... LOL WT ....we need to have a learning segment on the show ...maybe we could get CamoCop or C.I. to teach us all how to select an Outiffter because it obvious DD aint got a clue :D

Sounds good to me.

Ever consider hunting northern New England?
Outside out the Benoits, there is not one hunting show that focuses on our area of the country.

Of course the reason is it's much harder, time consuming andless deercompared to shooting deer in heavily deer populated states/provinces. By the way, we really do have big deer up here.

C'mon Doc, strap them on and show us what you can do in New England that the others can't or won't!

Good luck to you and your crew if you decide to go forward with your production.

Absolutely and I scene right on the side so I would be more than willing to offer my services. You could start off with something like this..

"Since the beginning of man" (shot of you in a cave by the fire...we could make you up like one of the Geiko cavemen)..You start drawing on the wall..."Man has been obsessed with the hunt"....(you have drawn just a deer with out the antlers, quick shot to another caveguy drawing a deer with little antlers, close up of your face and you smile then you draw a huge set of antlers on your deer....close up other caveguy as he shrugs shoulders cause he knows he beat. Then you stand back with the glow of fire on your face as the cave girl cheerleaders rush around you (all about a20 sec. shot). Screen goes to black. "The quest for the hunt still burns inside of us today". An alarm clock goes off, close up of your face as your eyes snap open and the smile of the caveguy appears on your face. The covers get pulled off, (can do this with strings), you are in full hunting gear lieing with your gun and bow.(10 sec.). Shot of 2 guys having tea and eating scoans, having the cheerleaders walk by and laughing at them, the guys looking very depressed,"But there are some of us that just can't connect to that primal calling...and for those there's Dr. Death".Dr.Death rushes out wearing a como lab coat, wearing stethascope and one of those reflector things on his head. He grabs the two guys and pulls them off the set. (15 sec.).As the cool music music starts (maybe Sabath, Iron Man)we see one of the guys taking a big buck with a bow, then the othera big buck with a gun, the shot then goes to to to guys on a porch sitting back with a cup of coffee with the cheerleadersrubbing their feet. Dr. Death walks up behind them places a hand an each of their shoulders, they look back and smile, and Dr. Death leans back and laughs (something like Dog the Bounty Hunter). (20 sec.). The shot then goeswhat the episode of the week.

I think we have a winner here! Get your people to call my people and we'll do lunch. Go get them Dr. Death.

Harley Davidson would be a good sponsor you know. Have a dixie chicky type like Daisy Duke to announce your hunt every week like Tim the Tool Man had on his show. Short shorts with a tight white camo top and make sure your studio is about 33 degrees. No problem filming in low light because the high beams will be on. Drillin and Killin with Dr. Death is a greatname for the show. If that one riles a few up you can tame it down with Killin and Grillin. One idea for a show is to split it up and show 20 minutes of hunting with a deer sausage tailgate BBQ at either a pro football game or better yet the college game of your choice....

Does DD? Sure don't look like it....not even a comment from DD on my reply a few pages back.

Oh well, I guess it's just too difficult to drag out a big old buck from the Maine, NH or VT woods.
A buck that can tip the scales at 250+dressed - for fun.
A bruiser, that when youput your sights on him, will take your breath away.

Waaay too much time needed to scout, plus low deer numbers don't help the cause.

Why hunt the cedar swamps, thick nasty alders, or old tote roads of northern New England?
I guess if it was easy, we would see more hunting shows in these woods.

Oh well DD, even though you're taking the high road here, ;)I still wish you the best in your new endeavor.

ok OKKKKKKKKK you have dropped the gauntlet and challanged the WRONG cowboy Jimmy ...you set things up there in "BIG BUCK"New England ..ofcourse I require plane tickets for me and my Camera man and I will need to know what Lodge will be hosting us ...Im sure they know what a feather in thier hat it will be to have the nationally renounDoctor Deathand his crew hunting there, all theexposier they will receiveSOOOOO DD will be there along with my film crew (C.I. get ready for a road trip) so NOW the ball is in YOUR court Jimmy ...have your people get in touch with my people when you have eveything arranged ...and keep it hush hush ..if the big bucks find out DD is on his way they will panic and split for Canada :D

I like the idea of the hot chick introducing DD at the start of the show. But, how about a hot chick celebrity hunting with him in each episodes. I would certainly tune in if i knew that I would get to see Jessica Simpson in lower buttocks revealing camo Daisy Dukes and a Camo halter top in a spread legged stance drawing back on a compound bow.

That's why there's no hunting shows from up here. All we got is big woods and big deer. Ya have to do it on your own, like us folks. Scout on your own, come up with your own strategy to put punch your tag.

There ain't no guides, nobody to do the scouting for ya, nobody to set you up in that perfect stand, nobody to push deer toward you.

We're talking public land, some owned by paper companies, where you can walk your life away hunting those old loggin roads.

When those big bucks up here find outDD iscomin' they'll sit real tight. Once they find outyou'reone of those"lodge hunting" types, the pressure will be off them.

Split for Canada?I doubt they'll split to the next ridge!These big bucks didn't get this big by being stupid.

Oh yea, I still vote Yes! :)

Ohhhhhh NOW I get it ....a "rough'n it" kind of hunting trip ..one where you sleep under a pup tent out in the middle of no where exposed to all the eliments ..a "REAL" mans hunt...where even your cell phone won't work and you have to take a bath in the ice cold creek ...tell you what Jimmy ...Ill get back to ya on this one :eek:..by the way my schedule has suddenly become very busy so don't call us we'll call you ;)
