I was wondering when you kill a buck that you know you are going to mount how do you go about kleaning it so that you get what you need to?

Simple....let the taxidermist skin it out. after you pick your mount he will know exactly how to cut the cape and head. most taxidermists do this for free as long as youre gettign the mount done by them.
