RE: Machure vs. Not Machure
I don't know guys, looks like the same deer to me from a different angle and he's a bit more "rutted up" in the second pic.
Look how the right side both have the little claw at the end. |

RE: Mature vs. Not Mature
Honestly, neither one of them are mature bucks.
|
RE: Mature vs. Not Mature
I said almost... I bet that second buck is 4.5 years old. Mature is around 5.5 or older. The first one is an example of a young gun. They are comparisons.

RE: Machure vs. Not Machure
MDDave, if shoot deer at that size, that's all you'll ever have. Let'em grow a couple of years and you'll have the kind of bucks we all really want to kill.

RE: Machure vs. Not Machure
Around here the 1st buck is 1.5yrs old.. and the 2nd one is 2.5yrs old.
I would have passed on both of them... |
RE: Machure vs. Not Machure
To each their own, in my neck of the woods both are shooters. I would be happy if either one strolled by my stand. We don't eat antlers. It's in the eye of the beholder.JMO
