when shooting a doe where do you shoot?

why would u shoot anywhere BUT the vitals? i personally think that the other two choices are unethical. i dont think that just because it isa doe that we can blow its head off.

Good Call! This is kinda dumb, thereare very few reasons to even attempta head or neck shot on a living animal. I had to once and I felt horrible afterwards. I had spined a doeon a running shot (another thing i wont do ever again) and she got into some really thick stuff when I hit her. All I could see was her thrashing around trying to get up and her head was sticking up above the thick junk. She held still long enough for me to put her out of her misery. Shooting eyeballs out on the range is one thing...in the field, its unacceptable.

no kiddding... vitals or bust.... why chance anywhere else?

Vitals for me too.......but, there will be some who will start ranting about being a better shot than the rest of us so, I'll just sit back and enjoy the comments

i shoot for vitals only, again anywhere else is pointless.
