Oh and lakehunter, how is the fishin over there on lake of the woods, never been there myself but have heard from a few of my friends here in Alberta that are from Manitoba say its an AWESOME lake to fish!

thanks everyone for your response and sharing,and to Uncle Matt, my g-grandpa is the one in the dark sweater lower left.and it does look like everyone in the pic is packing one of those Marlin 1895 lever action doesn't it. , and lethal connection, the fishing is great on the lake. bass, walleye, pike , lakers, muskie . I too have to comment on the calendar from Mert - wished it had been in my stocking !Let's keep those old pics coming folks - cause up here anyways we're still old time hunting !

the oldest pics i have are of my dad in the 80's. and nobody wants to be reminded of that time in history.

Pretty cool all of those pics, my Great-Grandpa did plenty of hunting, but I don't know if he ever took many pics.
