Well I only found out the neighbor 2 doors down would let me set up behind his house on just 7 acres.It does border the no hunting area I spoke of many times.I set up a make shift ground blind on Sunday just one day before the opener.I did not sit there Monday ,went with my son some where else.I sat at the new spot Tuesday morning.At 8 am seen the white doe walking thru the briars at 80 yards.Not shot op.It bedded down behind me in some cattails.About 8:30 dogs started barking across the road.Then a buck 2 brown does ran thru the briars and the white doe got up and ran with them.She has short legs and runs like a retard,No shot op.Left stand a 10 am. Returned at 2:30 ,seen nothing until 4 and see a buck and some brown does enter the briars. I thought they went out the other end and kept on going. Then 6 minutes before legal shooting time ended the buck steps out at 40 yards. No time to waste.I put up the slug gun and took aim at the front quarters,BANG It fell right down.I'm using a slug gun cause it is very thick in this area.So it is dark,Im stuck by my self and cant walk without 2 canes.Managed to field dress it in the dark and stumble home.Called Midman ,my son and he came down and along with the neighbor drug the buck to the field. Then I pulled it the rest of the way home with my tractor. I took pics ,but the camera operator messed up.There are pics of me and the deer and some of just its rack.It had 4 pts on one side and a weird deformed rack on the other side.a main beam and one brow tine out the front and one out the back.I had to get it to the butcher like quick before he closed.It weighed 178 lbs and was 5 1/2 years old.The butcher called me today and ask if I noticed something strange about the buck.I said no it was dark and I was in a hurry.He said it had 2 penis and three testicles.That explains the weird rack.Here is the pics>>>

you don't cut off the nuts and what not during field dressing prior to sending them to the butcher?

I'm with jroot, those things are the first to go when I dress one.
