RE: How to keep glasses from fogging?
there is a company here in arlington, tex that makes a "anti-fog". you rub it on lenses and then wipe it off. it prevents fogging. i use on my glasses and binocs.

What is the name of the company and how well does it work?

RE: How to keep glasses from fogging?
I bought some stuff at Wal Mart called Fog Block. Havn't used it on my scope, but on bathroom mirrors, truck windshield and glasses it works pretty good. Can't guarantee it is safe for high quality scopes, but it may be.

I don't know if this link will work but if not you can find it at cabelas.com.

there is also a product called rain-x. designed to block moisture and water on windshields. or there is the old school trick. if you've ever been scuba diving or snorkling, rubbing saliva on your lens works like a charm. i know it sounds strange, but it works very well.

RE: How to keep glasses from fogging?
This is the first year I have hunted with glasses and man what a pain. Well I did see more deer though. <img src=icon_smile_big.gif border=0 align=middle>
I didn't think of it in time but, I have some of that stuff for my paintball mask. Works great. Try looking in the paintball area of any store for it. I'm sure it will be marked accordingly. |
RE: How to keep glasses from fogging?
I started wearing glasses last year, but started having problems during the early part of bow season. Muggy weather and glasses don't go together well. I had some stuff from years ago when I skied quite a bit, it is called (no kidding) 'cat crap' and it works like a charm.
I would look in your local sporting goods or ski shop....good luck finding a solution! Pat in WV |
