RE: How to keep glasses from fogging?
The trick is an optically clear chemical barrier. Rain-X and "Anti-Fog" work just fine, but they're a variation on an old trick: take regular shaving cream (not shave gel) and apply it to the glass you want fog-free. Leave it for about a minute, and then wipe clean. It's effective for about 2 months per application.

Glasses fogging has bothered me a long time. I even tried contacts. Nate---I tried the shaving cream and it works like a charm. Thanks a million!!!

RE: How to keep glasses from fogging?
Thanks Nate, my glasses were due for a shave anyway.
I'm going on a late season hunt tomorrow and the low is supposed to be around 0 and the high 20. I was already dreading the old fog in the glass problem. |
RE: How to keep glasses from fogging?
You're welcome to all who liked the idea. I don't wear glasses, but I use the shaving cream "trick" with the mirror in the bathroom so that I can take a hot shower and then shave immediately after without having to find a way to remove the fog...
