Would you deer hunt more or less? Think about it. Lets say you took home a cool $120 million.

Probably more, because I certainly wouldn't be working any more. I'd like to try turkey hunting. Never have yet. Wife, kid=school , sports, job. I'd have a lot more time on my hands. I mainly deer hunt a couple of weekends a year. Pheasant and dove hunt occasionally......

Probably about the same, except that it would be occurring on my new 1000 acre estate, and hot, barely legal girls in camo thongs would be my hunting partners. Naw, winning the lottery wouldn't go to my head[8D]

I'd tell my boss to kiss my butt....Then I'd quit....Move back down east, live on one of our farms...Add a hot tub and a deck to the old farm house...Add a shooting rest to the deck and kill deer off the back deck whenever I pleased, with that kind of money, I'd pay the fine.....

Oh yea...I work for myself....:)

I might even go back to farming...Figure I could do it for 10-12 years....Before the $$$ ran out....

Beforeany ofmy GUN FUN started I'd drive my family down to DisneyWorld to let my kids have a few weeks of fun with Mickey and the gang.Of course stopping by Tiffanys to make a few minor purchases for my wife. But after that.....I'm rich guy!! My first purchase would be a 50BMG and put it in the back of my Dodge dulley. I'd use the dulley to pull my new Mastercraft. Then it'sout to my new 1500+ acer spread. My endevor would be to set up a QDM on my land. Then I'd call up Kimber and have them make me a full set of rifles in every caliber I could think of. Once I've gotten bored with all the useless spending I'd start going on hunts and fishing trips. Big game, African, Alaskan, Duck, Goose, Mexico, ohh and I'd try to make a grand slam. Gobble Gobble.I'd be a hunting fool.

You were obviously subjected to torture andtrauma that thoroughly destroyed your ability to rationalize while imprisoned at the U of I. We don't allow"free grazers" in MN, so fencing in Iowa would really help! ;)

I think I would definately hunt more. I bow and gun hunt deer. That takes up most every weekend in the fall when season is open. I would like to try turkey hunting and maybe duck and goose but it's all during my deer timeso I havent tried it yet. If I wasnt working I would have 3 months to hunt until I just couldn't walk to my stands anymore ! Then I would have to get in the boat and fish until my legs rested up !!

Hunt more more money to spend on hunting and equiptment . Also buy my own land to hunt have deer rabbit and pheasent and a bass and trout pond to fish,.

I would buy a big chunk of land and hunt it all the time. Then I'd get a guide liscense and start an outfitting service, I wouldn't have to work, unless you count running the outfitting service as work, and I would hunt and fish and do everything outdoors all year long. AND I'D STILL BE RICH!!!

The next obvious question is why do I live in Iowa then? School. The hunting is just a great added bonus!


As to the question of how much I would hunt:

I would hunt every day that I possibly could. I would hunt every deer season possible, max out on tags, give the extra meat to the HUSH, hunt every other animal every possible season and build a really sweet wooden lodge in the middle of a large chunk of land in northern MN with a lake no one else has access to.

This is compared to the 10 or so days a year I get to hunt now.

I do too many rough back country hunts in 3 months to carry on
for longer in a course of a year.....

I honestly think that if I won $120 million or so, I would probably end up hunting less often, but obviously I would buy a big hunk of land and make the times that I do hunt much more to my exact liking. I just think that I would also want to pursue other interest, that I currently do not have the funds for, such as buying, collecting and riding motorcycles. Of course my wife would want to travel quite a bit, so I think less often for me.

ok.. I would let you guys hunt there.. The fence is to keep 'people' away from me. I would love to drive across a state with NO TRAFFIC, NO NASTY PEOPLE, FRESH AIR, OPEN SPACES ( no more housing developements ).. Picked Iowa because the nice deer are already there for me.. :D

I dont think I would stop hunting/scouting for deer. With a 120 mil I wuoldnt have to work, which means I could build my nice log cabin in the middle of nowhere in Big Buck Heaven and just play in the woods all day long!

well i would buy me a whole lot of land first. then i would need a real nice truck so i would get a dodge 3/4 ton diesel truck. then i would need a really nice rifle which i already have 4 good ones. (notice i said 4 not 5 cuz the 710 ain't all that nice) so the answer would be yes I would definitely deer hunt more.

I might not hunt more often than I already do, but I would hunt longer, and to more exotic places, like Alaska, Canada, Montana, and maybe Africa.

I would move back to North Ga and buy a mountain. The whole thing right down to the valley.

Then i would find a legal way to protect it from any kind of sub divison or development after i died. At least then there would be at least one piece of land undevolped in North Ga. The way its going up there now it will be subuarbs from Atlanta to Chattanooga before long.

I would buy the surrounding 640 Acres around my grandfathers farm so I could say I own a full Section of land. In the end I think I would probably hunt more but not at the same spot. I would definantly be a traveling hunter. I would be happy as hell if you fenced in Iowa!! GO MIZZOU!

After my 2 week vacationin Amsterdam, I would start purchasing land.

At first,less as I'd be busy chasing animals that aren't in my area. Fulfilling my dream hunts at the same timekeep the mrs happy by hunting area's she would liketo visit as well (Alaska, New Zealand and Africawould be among the top priorities).

First of all I would have to buy a very large group of hunting dogs to let go by uncle matt's farm so he would get some shooting in and think of me!:DThen I would go on a some great hunting trips all over the world and enjoy what the great outdoors have to offer.

I'd buy all the land sorrounding my current hunting land which would be 3187 acres and gate off all the access points. I'd also buy me a big chunk of land in northeastern utah to hunt elk and muleys on. I'd deffinately spend more time hunting. Buy a few other things id like to have and donate alot to charity. I'd pay off all my parents bills and give them enough money they would never have to work again. Life would be grand. It's great to dream! :D
