RE: what is your gun of choice?
Again it depends on the season and type gun/bow allowed. if I could only choose one it would definetly be my T.C. Omega 50 cal with the Nikon Buckmaster 3-9 power scope.
Shotgun Scoped woud be my Remington 11-87 with rifled slub barrel
Shotgun unscoped would be my Browning Auto-5 with rifled barrel
Rifle Remington 7400 30-06 with Nikon Buckmaster 3-9 power Scope
Bow my Matthews

Limited to a shotgun or muzzyfor deer here in Illinois as far as long guns are concerned. You'll find me with an 12 gauge H&R Ultra Slug Hunter Deluxe 9 times out of 10. In the thicker woods I'll be sporting an old 12 gauge J.C. Higgins pump smithed with an 18-1/2" barrel and rifled sights.
Going to get something else toobecause you can use handguns in the firearms seasons as of recently. I'm thinking a .44 mag. - most likely a Ruger.

My all time choice would be my ruger M77MKII .220 swift. Just love shooting that rifle.I have a 45/70 marlin and buffalo classic that are fun to play with. My 6.5X284 and my .50 bmg are fun at long range.
