maybe 10 at any one time,but i hunted a piece of property this season that was only 18 acres.i'm the only one that hunts it. during 2 weeks of rifle season i saw over 100 deer. 12-13 bucks,i had bucks come in twice in the evening and bed down within 20yds of the stand after eating all the acorns they could hold. i killed 2 nice 8pts from that stand.

This past season I saw 14 deer opening day of rifle season. Mostlyfawns/does, and a 4pt buck, 6 pt buck, and button buck. That was by far the most I've ever seen in a day.

To you people who said you saw like 40 deer in 1 sitting, was that all natural??? Or did you have feed/feeders?

Well 5 does were at my feeder. The rest were just feeding on grass. Most of the deer cant come to my feeder. The hogs have overun it.

the most i saw was 5 does, all eating on a cedar tree that had recently fallen. after waiting for one of the biggest one to step around the tree and letting her have it, only 2 of the remaining 4 took off, so i took another one, all within about 2 minutes, and both deer dropped within sight. its a long story, but basically i went to shoot 1 deer and my action wasnt all the way closed, and by the time i fixed it that deer was gone, only to reappear w/ 4 friends, then i shot the big doe, and the same thing happened before i shot the 2nd deer. by the time i was done, my fingers were so frozen.

Well I don't hunt out of a stand, and things are sure a lot different on the prairies but one evening while sitting in a small bluff(which was 5 miles from the next nearest tree) we had 95 whitetail's and more then 150 antelope within 200 yards all at one time. But remember that this is prairies hunting and things are a lot different. Seeing over 500 deer(whitetail and mulies) in a day is not uncommon in some areas near winter ranges towards the end of the rut.

i saw 17 blacktail deer in my orchard at one time which is a **** load for blacktail b/c they tend not to go in big groups. those treestands really work.15 does and 2 nice blacktail bucks. here is a pic of one of the nice bucks.

saw 26 deer in day 3 coons 15 squirrels and 50 cows[:-]

Last year on an evening hunt from my stand overlooking a hay field witha harvestedcorn section in the middle I seen 23 deer . All does and 12 turkeys at the same time .
The turkeys were in 2 groups that eventualy joined together and scared a few does in the field .
No feeder .
