I have a couple of suggestions for the board.

1. When posting, tell people what part of the country you're from. Either put it in your signature or just mention it in your post.

2. Start a new forum for shed hunting. I get on here ever year to look for info on shed hunting and I have to shift through all the other deer hunting posts to find it.

Just my2 cents.

A couple of tips for KansasDeerHunter, if you have a trailcam put it up. You can tell from your pics if the bucks have started dropping their antlers.

Starting in mid-February, I'd get in the woods. And don't forget about the fields. If you can take a 4-wheeler, then use it cover more ground in the fields.

Look and then look some more. Don't be afraid to return to a spot that you've already been to.

found a shed yesterday in a bean field and it had been there for a while. My brother in law found one at our place back in December. Starting to find a good amount now though. Most of our camera pics all the bucks are missing their antlers. Also while shed hunting yesterday I found my buck that I shot during first shotgun season with a muzzleloader. Made my day.
