High Roller?

anyone ever heard of a deer called "High Roller" raised by an Amish farmer that scored 377 @ 4 years old in 2003...then in 2006 @ 7 years old scored 418 and a half..25' inside spread and outside of over 40' with 53 scoreable points.

I got my new journal of teh alabama trophy hunters association mag...and this article was in it.

His name is High Roller and he is alive and well on an Amish Farm in Central Ohio. On the Journal of the Texas Trophy Hunters TV Show episode first airing Tuesday July 27, High Roller will be darted, semen extracted, and will measure over 377 on the Boone and Crocket, with 44 scorable points. And he's only four and one-half years old. As a bonus- if you make it to any of the Hunters Extravaganzas® this year, you'll see "High Roller" in living color, that's right, arrangements have been made to have a life-sized replica of this awesome Whitetail on display at each Hunters Extravaganza® in Fort Worth, San Antonio, and Houston. Click here for more info on Hunters Extravaganza®.

He is huge, but "farm raised" or deer "raised behind fences" do nothing for me. I prefer the all-natural deer that are not kept as pets and "grown" to be big.

I really detest those hideous non-typical racks. I hope it doesn't escape, and infect the wild gene pool. I'd rather have a nice symmetrical 150" 8 point on my wall than that monstrosity. A whitetail is not supposed to look like it has a mesquite tree growing out of its head.

You know what? I agree with you! A nice large typical looks so much better to me.

guess you typical fans wouldn't shoot a buck like that in the wild, due to the hideous appearance of a rack that if weren't pen raised would best the non-typical record by 85 inches.
RR
I'd shoot him and try to convince the other duys on the lease that he's a cull buck due to the hideously deformed rack. ;)
