Coolest thing ever. My girlfriend mentioned taking Hunter's Education classes this fall! She's still too afraid of guns to shoot one, but it's a start. I got her into fishing and she outfishes me all the time...
I think that that is pretty normal to be apprehensive if onedoes not have any experience.Let hertell you the pace that she is comfortable with. Maybe she would like bowhunting? Just a thought.

My wife is pretty cool about it, but shelooks forward to the end of the season. She gets to do her things at other times of the year so there's a trade off.

I've had her aiming a .22 and a few BB guns at targets, but she just couldn't pull the trigger. She gets nervous about the "power" she's controlling. I want to get into bowhunting, and I think that might be better suited for her. We're planning on doing my turkey scouting together this spring, and if that goes well she'll be in a tree stand by fall. Love this girl:D. My last girlfriend used to pray that I wouldn't kill anything when I went hunting.

Mine knew fromthe beginning, so she is pretty good. I have taken her but it wasn't her thing and I respect that. The famiuly still comes with daddy on scouting trips and our drive in the country during spring, summer and fall. Being the wife grew up on the farm we both think it is important to teach the kids about agriculture, etc as it is a huge part of saskatchewan. Idon't wantmy girls to become city snobs on the account of where mom and dad have jobs/chosen to live. The drives are spent talking about different crops, animals and dad gets to do a little recon at the same time[8D].

I would be a liar if I said she doesn't give me the eyesat times. Forsome hunting might be a few days, weeks or months a year for me it is a 12 month thing. She understands my passion for the sport and never discourages me. I must remember us time and her alone time as well. All about comprimise, it works well.Though some flowers never hurt prior to a hunting trip either.;)

My wife doesn't mind. She has hunted with me in the past. She helps me with butcheringand we both love the taste of venison. She does how ever think I have enough guns. When I go hunting she goes to the casino. Some times it works out great, she gives me her winnings to spend any way I want. I feel real guilty buying all that hunting and fishing stuff with her money, naw, not really.;) I'm lucky and I know it.:D[8D]

My woman could care less how much I hunt. As long as I support her hobbies and shopping n sh**, I can do whatever I want...untill the season is over of course.
