Default Lures

I know about mock scrapes and scents but I saw a tape the other day that said a few things that I did not understand. The first thng was a "caller scent" placed away from the other scents. It is supposed to be a lot stronger and draw bucks into the scrape and target areas. Can anyone recommend one to me. I also did not understand what he was putting in the mock scrape besides scrape magic. It was urine but was it Buck urine or Doe urine? He also put this on the overhanging branches. I won't be getting out until Dec 8th so Rut will be ending so I was a little mixed up about the urine. Any help would be GREATLY APPRECIATED and you people are the best. I am taking my son and I want him to have a good time.
Thanks in advance

Here's what I know...

A caller scent would be a scent like a "doe in heat" scent which will draw bucks from out of the woods to investigate. In the rub he'd probably put more "doe in heat" scent or "buck urine" which will tell the buck that someone else is here. Then Rattling and grunting has a better effect. A buck after he's done ad during the scraping action he will leave his scent on the overhanging branches tellign the deer he was here. This scent wil come from glands next to his eyes. I do not know pf any scent used to duplicate this...

Hope this helps. If you REALLY want HARDCORE information, look up trmichels he'll help a lot. I think his email is [email protected] but don't quote me on it. Youshould give him a shout (HE KNOWS HIS STUFF!)
