Notspending enough time on stand. Hours on stand = deer seen, shot opps.

I like big fat bucks, so I do post-season scouting and apply all of my new knowledge, usually from mistakes, and discover their escape routes and secondary trails and etc...

Prepares me for the next season. * Take Notes During The Season*

Biggest mistakes I see bowhunters make is 1) taking too longor bad angle shots 2) using too light of an arrow & whimpy/light mecanichal heads because they wanna gain a few FPS. 3) improperly tuned bow. Scouting & scent control is useless if you cant kill em when they come.

Thinking about the shot too much. Once you see it's a deer you want toput on the crosshairs and take the shot. Don't let your brain make it harder than it is.

I find it amusing that about 1/2 the responses have something to do with a stand. I've never used a stand or a blind forhunting deer, so I guess that means I have 1/2 thechance of making a mistake!

Not knowing your rifle well enough, Not practicing enough at the range, Not taking time to rezero your scope for the new season, Not learning how to walk through the woods without alarming every critter in sight, Not taking the wind into consideration, Nottracking nor scouting before the hunt, Not caring about BO and drinking to much Fire Water the night before the hunt.
