Also that you have a lifetime license doesn't help?

Not counting the purchase of my remington 870 or savage .270, less than 100 bucks on average. I'll buy a couple of boxes of ammo to practice with and keep about 10 rounds on hand at any given time. Otherwise I just use the same stuff every year and since I don't use scents or anything I don't really have to replenish anything but ammo.

I'm just shaking my head wondering how in the world all you folks don't easily spend over $2,000 every season. Man, 2K doesn't even go far these days when just a new bow rig will run yawell over half that! How in the heck does anyone just spend $100 per year?!? I probably spend that on just tags and license!

I can't not spend less then 100. i'll spend that much on shells and arrows.
my bet for people who went up to 2K lease land.
but i guess if you've got the right set up then its easy to not spend much.

Tags... 35 for archery and gun tags
Arrows... 1 dozen/year 75
Ammo... I spend around 400-500/yr on reloading supplies, but that's another hobby unto itself
Clothing... 60/yr, usually pick up sale items after season
Camp supplies... food, beverage, ice, paper plates, cups etc 200
I'm sure there's more, but don't tell the wife...

Try going back to the very first post, he's asking how much we spend before the season not what we spend through out.....Heck if you want to ask what I spent for the whole season then your getting up there with gas, food, and although I stay at a friends house while hunting we each chip in $30 for the weekend and give him. I still have most everything already and just by some new shells every year so yea, I'm safe saying less than $100 before I pull out of the driveway. Cost me $15 for a first season tag, then another $15 for the second season only permit.
