How come so many people can shoot so many deer? Where i live i can only shoot 1 deer per year.

Two bucks with a muzzleloader and three does. One doe with a bow. I am now out of freezer room.

In iowa you can get two bucks depending on what your are hunting with and as many does as you want to buy tags for - almost. It comes out to being a lot, thousands of antlerless tags. I know a guy who bought 20 tags this year. Thats all they eat in his family and he has four huge chest freezers.

1 small doe my first year out when I was 13, a 13pt buck when I was 23 and a large doe when I was 24 all with the same 20 guage Remington 870, and all 1 shot kills.
