Default I Got My First Buck Since 1998!

Sorry but I have to brag a little bit, it has been so long since I have killed one with horns (we have a 3 points on one side rule here in Arkansas)! It was only a 5 point but it was nice to finally kill something besides a doe. I know you can't eat the horns, but boy, they somehow make the hunt so much more exciting. I thanked the Lord for giving me the chance, and my rifle for shooting straight! Good luck everyone (and if you hunt central Arkansas get out there because the rut has started).

Congrats on the buck, it feels good to get any deer, but a buck is a bonus!

Congratulations! It feels different when you bag a buck, I don't know why.

i like to take bucks because with antlers they are easier to drag if you dont have anything tie on them. though i still looking for another doe this season

Congrats!

My buddy got one on opening day right after he started hunting, and then nothing but misses for 6 years. He felt great about finally getting one, especially because it was a buck.

Keep 'em all in the Bull.

Congrats on the Buck... <img src=icon_smile_big.gif border=0 align=middle> I've killed 5 Bucks in my hunting Area since 1996... and 1 Doe... Two of the Bucks I got, I thought were Does. I did'nt notice the Spikes on one, and the other one onl had Button's.
I'd of shot them just the same. Or a Doe either one, I'm not picky! I just am glad to get a Deer.
