Just be up front and tell her how you feel about hunting .At least that way you don't start out by telling her a lie . If she can't understand your feelings then you will know right away it isn't going to work . I wish you luck

If you loved football and she didn't...I wouldn't take the advice of finding another girl. This is no different. I would proceed very slowly. Keep the hunting stuff to a minimum and enjoy each other's company. When or if this relations continues and you both have a better understanding of each other, then I would begin to listen to how/why she doesn't believe in hunting. Take in as much information here as possible so there little chance of misunderstanding. Note that I said for you to LISTEN to her first and not for you to come on strong in your beliefs in why you hunt. I would downplay it for the time being (if possible) but in time, when the situation presents itself, I would begin my explanations as to why this sport means so much to me, and only after I had a complete understanding on exactly where she stood. It would show her your openness to listen to her questions and concerns about hunting and it would also give you all the ammunition you need.....Good luck on this one!

Find another girl!
No girl is worth NOT hunting and spending time outdoors.. Hunting is a tradition you will likely pass to your children and have very fond memories of it. Unless she's your wife, you're better off finding another one!

take her out to dinner and after the meal is over, take her home and tell her the good news ,GOODBY, even if she gives in and lets you hunt and fish once in a while if you were to marry her, the chances are that she'll never let your kids go with you if have children. You will cook your own fish and game and she will start complaining about guns in the house, spending time at the gun club and anything to do with the out doors. you may even find out that the whole family may be anti hunting.. Oh did I say to run over a cat on the way home.

She doesn't believe in hunting, but she eats meat? Only animals raised in tiny pens, fed steroids and killed by another are fit to eat?
I'd take soakrebel's advice. The season's almost over, you may be able to take advantage until next fall if you take it slow to start with. <img src=icon_smile_wink.gif border=0 align=middle>
