I think its useless you are just wasteing your money. I have had deer down wind of me and never been busted. Think about this wrap a dead animal that has been sitting along a road in 90 degree heat in a scent lock suit. Get back to me on if you still smell it or not. If you dont well there you go it works. If it doesnt safe our money and buy something more useful.

I still want to see an independent study done on the stuff, like putting on a complete scent lok suit and hiding in the woods and having a bloodhoundwork the area. If the bloodhound can't find you, then I would consider buying the stuff. I heard a couple of years ago about a guy that put on a carbon suit of some kind and then hid in a refrigerator box (I think they had 4 of the boxes ina bigfield). Then a friend turned the guys lab loose and the lab went to his owner hidden in a box every time.
A couple of weeks ago I carried my grandson to a two man ladder stand on a warm day. We walked down a road on the edge of a pine plantation to get there. After being in the tree about 30 minutes a 4 point walked the same road and literally right under the stand and out in the field without any kind of alert on his part. We had no kind of carbon suits on, just cotton blendcamo shirts and pants.

Every home has a smell to it. We use cleaners, perfumes, cook food, have pets, fireplaces, candles and all the other stuff that has a smell. When you use your dryer, you are using the air from inside your home to pass through the dryer andover a heating element before passing through the dryer tumbler before exiting the house.
I find it hard to believe that these clothes, in this process don't smell like your home and the other clothes that you dry, which do have laundry detergent and fabric softeners on them.
But of course the "test" dryers aren't going to have this problem. I'm pretty sure the makers of this clothing know this, but obviously can't tell you in the care instruction that you need to also buy a special high temp dryer, which needs to be installed outside somewhere or it wouldn't sell.

I do agree that therecould besome benefits to using carbon, but if I were going to start using it, I think I would keep my favorite clothes and go get some spray carbon to put on them. Reactivation would be simple, just spray more on. I think I'll save my money for something else. Here's an idea - take the money that you would spend on this stuff and take you wife out to dinner every time you hunt. Soon she'll be pushing you out the door with your equipment and telling you where she'd like to eat that night!

I beleive they all have an adavantage to a certain degree, but I think it matters what brand you buy from. I use Scent-Lok and have personally experienced viewing more deer since purchasing.

Can you put a price on a boost in "confidence"? I don't use carbon suits myself and really don't see the need for them or the expense. However people such as predator26 obviously feel better with them on and it in turn boost their confidence level when they head to the field. I personally think they work better on the hunters mind then the deers nose but isn't that half of the battle:)???

I own it and use it, especially while bow hunting.

Is it the Holy Grail of scent prevention? NO.

Is it worthless? NO.

I also take real care on all other clothing with scent eliminating cleaners, I am careful of when and where I put it on, I shower using scent eliminating cleaners, I use scent eliminating sprays on my equipment,I also play the wind as much as possible.

So, I am scent conscious and feel the duds do offer some level of insurance or protection but by no means rely solely upon it to make me invisible when it comes to scent detection. IMO

Just let an ole pickled egg and chillie dog fart around the camp fire while wearing one and see if your hunting buddys can smell it ... I bet that can !
