Metal Donnie.. to answer your question, no bucks do not visit their rubs every day. They will periodically check back to their old rubs. But it may be 3 or 4 days or a week later. Who knows. They wont be back every single day though count on that.

i believe that the rubs on bigger trees are made by bigger bucks. i have seen rubs on trees 12-16 inches in diameter and larger. i have seen these bucks and they were indeed large wide racks.

Well my camera did it's job where all the rubs are. I've got six different bucks..... one 8 point, two 6ers, three spikes. I've only got one doe out of all the buck pictures, pretty good odds. Here'sthe eight point, maybe I can put it to him here in the next month.

The size of the tree; that is what matters.. The amount of rubs just could be marking off a boundary line. We have had rubs on trees that are as big as a man's thigh.. then, couple acres away we would have a row of saplings hit; none bigger than a wrist.

haha....I like that. Here's the biggest body buck on this particular piece of property. Should have been an 8 pointbutsome tines were broken off or either he just didn't grow a brow tine and a g2 like the other side.

The other six point. I'd like to let him walk this year, but I know my buddies won't think twice about slamming him. It'd be a good first buck for a younger person or whatever, but imagine what he'd be next year, or two years. I can't get anybody that goes hunting with me to think about the future and how many nice rack bucks we'd have if they would help me manage these places. Maybe this one will survive another year.

how big can an 8 pointers rack anda 4 pointers get in a year? i think im going to have to wait til next year to get them since i only have today and tomorrow to get them
