I got my Alberta buck [:D][:D]
I got mine last night at about 4:30 with about 15 mins left of light. This buck walked right up to me . I mean like he came right up to me about 15 yrds away. I was hunting from a groung blind on an inside corner, That no one can hunt due to no access.
Over the last 2 nights i've had 2 diffrent bucks come right up to me?? Dont know what i'm doing diffrent ?? I did change my brand of "DOE piss" maybe just maybe?? oh well what it was it works.
Another big body deer heavy beams 5x4 deer Pics to come once the devolped...it's not a booner but its nice. I was gong to pass just so i didnt end my season but....."my dark side won out" saying you may never see a bigger one. So at 20 yards he spotted he standing and hit high gear.I hit him broadside right at the shoulder, he dropped his shoulder a bit but kept going. So once again "the dark side spoke" more like screamed !!!!!!! HIT HIM AGAIN!!!! so i didquarting away at 75 yards missed my target and hit'm high in the hind! dropped like a rock. Lesson learned "never shoot quarting away on the run" <img src=icon_smile_angry.gif border=0 align=middle><img src=icon_smile_angry.gif border=0 align=middle>. As i seen when cleaning him out he was dead on his feet running. Half of his heart was gone and both lungs

Way to go! Can't wait to see the pics! I live alberta as well, East of Edmonton, I didn't get the chance to hunt till the 15th. My dad got home wed night and thursday morning I got him. He is my first buck and is a small 8 point. We took friday off and barely went out saturday. We din't go Monday morning cause I had a Chem Test and Monday evening, Dad got his. a bigger 8 pint. Two bucks in 8 1/2 hours of hunting! That was my year. Took me 1 shot 45 mins int the season to get mine...
