Thats funny,, a guy at work had those same two pics at work the other day telling how it was his nephew and blah, blah, blah,, worlds best hunter, blah blah.. Then I proceded to tell him how that sign in the background is a high fence ranch and he must have a pretty wealthy nephew to afford a buck like that,, it was pretty funny the look on his face, and how fast the stories stopped and the pics dissappeared. Its a huge buck,, but farmers can grow some pretty big cows too, no different.

The pics were off a texas site originally, but i am familiar with the place the deer was taken in iowa. 11k for a 'trophy' hunt. for the record i agree with all of you. 'farmers can grow some pretty big cows' 10-4

The buck probably died from spoiled feed or something.

X 23 High fence isn't hunting its killing.

OBTW I have a huge typical Herford bull I'd sell for $11K, you can shoot it with a bow, rifle, muzzleloader whatever you want. I got a treestandbeside afeed trough that he frequents daily so you shouldn't have to sitvery long. (not funny, very sad)

how can it possibly be fun to shoot a captive deer? where is the challenge? where is the reward? all you feel is an empty check book and no pride!! trying hunting, not killing!!!

im all for putting out corn, apples, salt licks or planting a food plot on your land...but no fences. nothing wrong in my book with helping supply some good nutrients, but give the buck a chance to roam anywhere he chooses and hide where he wants.
