I'm curious how you guys would score the buck in this photo. I've had it scored by a B&C scorer, so I know what he grosses. I'd like to see how close y'all get.

my guess would be 118 and some change. Send me a PM to let me know how far off I was. (PLEASE)
132 ....

the first buck is in the mid 130's

and the 2nd buck is about 118" serioushunter1 is dead on with his score on the buck. I have added him up 3 times and come up with the samefigure every time

You might want to re-check that calculator...

I'll post the scores in the separate thread called "Score this Buck". One of the guys over there had the closest guess.

Download one of the score sheets from B&C Minah..... then let somone who is impartial score your buck. You are emotionally attached to your trophy, and no matter how hard you may try to be fair,it's almost impossible not to fudge a little. Darn fine buck no matter what scores.... Congrats!

Don't know if anyone else noticed the score from page 1, but the original deer scored 150 2/8?Is there something against simplifying while scoring?
2/8 = 1/4. You can simplify scores right? Or do they have to stay in the 8th's? I always thought you simplify, take the most accurate measurement possible.

Like to see a better pic at the deer to get a better judgement cuz from the pic he didn't look 150. Hard to tell though.

Def, not a 150 more like 130 with a good stretch in mass

You're right stealthhtr22 about simplifying when it comes to typical math. But when you score a deer everything has to be in 8ths. If it's 6/8" then that's what gets written on the score sheet and not 3/4. As far as the deer is concerned I was gonna guess low 140's.
