RE: 150 class deer?
that deer is lucky to make 130

RE: 150 class deer?
With 20 and 21" main beams and his tine length he'd need to have a lot of unseen mass to get to 150. Is it possible you threw in an extra spread measurement?Inside spread is the only one to count towards your B&C score.
I'd say 130's based on the picture angle and beam length given. Nice looking deer though and congrats!! |
RE: 150 class deer?
Who cares. That's a nice buck. Throw your tape measure away and enjoy it!!!

RE: 150 class deer?
When talking scores, spread is measured, except in BTR.
When talking to others, something like a "10 point, typical, 5x5, 20" spread, 140 gross" can give them a good mental picture of your deer! Unless you are talking "book" deer, a gross score, (spread included) gives a better picture than a net score does! BTR scoring, except that it comes from the Bushwacker, is a good system because it is "bone" measurement only, no "air!" BTW, thats a great buck, but unless I'm not seeing something, I'd say 140 tops! Congrats! |

RE: 150 class deer?
Great buck but I can't see a 150 score. More like 130-135 to me.
