Had a great hunt this weekend! Helped my buddy get his first buck (and a nice one at that) andmy other friend bagged a nice doe.

yea. way to many deer and on top of that they've been having a horrible drought in the hill country. were working on the too many deer problem tho.

Yea man its texas what do you expect all of midwesterners would think that a deer scoring 130 down there would look like a 200" to us since we are used to 180+lb deer

The problem is there is not enough hunters in our area. Sounds strange I know but all the area aorund us has been pretty well swallowed by residential building. So we are pretty much the only hunters in our area. This may very well be our last year out there
